Privacy Policy

PourWatch (the “Service”) is operated by ALSTIG INC. This policy describes what data the Service collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. The Service is available as a web application at pourwatch.com.

Who this policy is about

PourWatch is used by contractors (the “Operator”) to manage their own customers. This policy covers data collected about the Operator. Operators are responsible for their own customers’ data under their own privacy practices — PourWatch acts as a data processor for that customer data.

What we collect

Account data: email address (used for passwordless, magic-link sign-in — we never use or store a password), operator name, business name, business contact details, service area, billing preferences.

Service data you enter: customer records (name, address, contact, equipment, service preferences), visit logs (notes, photos), recurring jobs, invoices, payment status.

Camera and photo library: photos you explicitly capture or select for a job, a receipt, or a document. Photos are uploaded to our storage and may be sent to our AI processor (Anthropic) to turn them into written notes or to read a receipt. Photos are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with anyone else.

Microphone: audio you explicitly record using the voice-note feature. The recording is uploaded and sent to our transcription processor (OpenAI Whisper) to turn speech into text. The transcribed text is saved with the visit; the audio is not retained after transcription and is not used for any other purpose.

Server logs: standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, route accessed) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

How we use it

To operate the Service: authenticate you, store and serve your data, deliver AI-assisted features (permit-lead scoring, note structuring, assistant), send transactional email and push notifications, process payments through your connected Stripe account, and route your work day.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your data to train any AI model.

Third-party processors

The Service uses the following processors. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function:

• Supabase — database, authentication, file storage
• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, edge functions, CDN
• Anthropic — AI processing of job photos and service notes
• OpenAI — speech-to-text transcription of voice notes
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing (you maintain your own connected Stripe account)
• Google Maps Platform — map rendering and routing on the web app

Data retention

We retain your account and service data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (see below), all personal data and service data is hard-deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required to comply with law (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

• Email us: support@alstiginc.com from the address on file. We process deletion within 7 days.

Children

PourWatch is a business tool not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our storage provider. Sign-in is passwordless — we use one-time magic-link codes and never store or transmit passwords. We do not have access to the customer data in your operator account except as needed to provide support you request.

Changes to this policy

We will post any updates here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email.
